The cool temperatures slow down ripening. That means fewer berries during what is usually peak but with the potential for a longer season. This season has been a tough one to predict, and we truly appreciate your patience and support.

Strawberry reservation sign-up schedule for the remainder of the season:

*PLEASE NOTE: When the reservations open there is an initial rush. During that time you may see an “Invalid HTTP request”. This will disappear as the sign-ups slow. We appreciate your patience and support.

As the only USDA-certified organic strawberry farm in the area, we simply do not have enough berries to satisfy demand. To grow organically, we can only plant 1/3 of our fields at any time so we grow as many berries as we can but it is still 1/3 of what conventional farms of the same size can grow. In the past, we have had substantial revenue loss and field damage from over picking. Reservations are the best way to ensure that we care properly for our family, our farm, our crops, our neighbors, our customers, and the environment. We thank you for your time, patience, and support.

The GreenHouse at 5503 Poplin will open on April 4 for garden plant sale and outdoor fun. No reservations needed at the GreenHouse but does NOT have strawberries or farm access.
