Can I visit the farm without a reservation?
No. We are open by reservation only. Please do not come to the farm without a reservation.
Wise Acres is a small family farm located in a neighborhood with limited parking. When we are not open to the public, we are working in the fields. Reservations allow us to manage parking, protect the crops, and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, neighbors, and farm families.
As the only USDA-certified organic strawberry farm in the area, we grow far fewer berries than conventional farms. Organic practices require that we plant only about one-third of our fields at a time, which means supply is limited. In the past, over-picking caused crop damage and revenue loss. Reservations help us protect the farm while giving visitors the best possible experience.
Thank you for your patience and support.
If you would like to visit without reservations, please check out our adjacent property:
The GreenHouse at 5503
No reservation required. Hours vary depending on weather.
When do reservations open?
Reservations open once we begin seeing fruit ripening, usually a few weeks before the season starts.
Strawberry season is our busiest time and reservations fill quickly. Production follows a bell curve, with peak picking typically in late April through early May.
Early in the season we release only a small number of reservations. Additional dates are usually opened weekly as we monitor field conditions and weather.
Other seasons generally allow for more visitors, but availability is still affected by parking limits, county permits, staffing, and weather.

How can I enjoy Wise Pie pizza or Wise Thai?
The county limits the number of cooking permit days and hours we are allowed each season.
As permits are approved, we post the available dates and times.

Unfortunately, no. We love dogs, but due to liability and food safety regulations, pets must stay at home. Of course service animals welcome.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash is preferred.
We also accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
What is your rain policy?
We are farmers, so a little rain does not close the farm.
You may change your reservation at no charge until 11:59 PM the night before your scheduled visit.
If you cancel by the night before, we will refund your reservation minus the 3% credit card processing fee.
If severe weather requires us to close the farm, we will email you and provide a full refund.
How do I change or cancel my reservation?
Check your confirmation or reminder email and click the “View Booking” button at the bottom. This will take you directly to your reservation page where you can make changes.
Reservations are transferable. The person attending can simply check in under the reservation name.
What are your bathroom facilities?
We currently offer porta-johns, including a handicapped-accessible unit, along with portable foot-pump hand-washing stations throughout the farm.
Our farm uses well water and a septic system, which are not approved for commercial use. For over a decade we have requested access to city water and sewer, but those requests have been denied.
Until that changes, portable facilities are our only option. Thank you for your understanding.
